Robert Powell Center for Medical Ethics

The Powell Center for Medical Ethics is dedicated to the memory of longtime NRLC Vice President Robert Powell, a Texan with a disability who served as a pro-life champion in leading the struggle to protect the lives of people with disabilities and older people from euthanasia. The Powell Center for Medical Ethics serves as NRLC’s arm in fighting to protect the vulnerable born from both direct killing and denial of lifesaving medical treatment, food and fluids. Since its beginning in 1968, the National Right to Life Committee has been as active in striving to protect older people with disabilities from euthanasia and infanticide as in working to protect unborn children from abortion.
